One day and two gallery openings

Today was a super art day! I had two gallery openings on one day! I've been doing a lot of animal ink drawings these past two years and now most of them are on display at the library of Nummela. There is also a new art store at the beautiful Fiskars village called Mikä Art. There are now original paintings and drawing for sale and a few prints as well. I'm so happy for all these opportunities to show my art!

Below are some pics of my current library gallery. The Vihti library has a very good gallery area at the main entrance. I have a little guest book there and it's already filled with nice feedback from people :)

I currently have an exhibition in my local library. I'm really happy about the possibility to display my art in a library. Art galleries charge rent and profits and the library show is free of charge. I have 18 paintings on display from the years 2010 until 2013. Below is little news article about my gallery :) obviously it's in finnish ;)

I have currently a few paintings on display in a library in Vihti . I don't know what it's like in other countries, but in Finland you can have galleries in almost every library and it's usually for free (or for a very low cost). The galleries are available for both professional and hobby artists. The galleries are about art, photography, handicraft or even fashion. It's really nice that libraries support culture in so many ways :)

My little gallery is running throughout December. Today I stopped by at the library with my friend Ulla (she's model to many of my paintings). Ulla took some phone cam pics of me that you can see below. My next library show will be in June 2013.
