Animal skull mandala

Small update on my previous post :) I've already sold a lot of prints and several originals at the Mikä-art store in the beautiful Fiskars village! Fiskars village is one of my favorite places in South Finland. It's full of interesting stores and the location is historical and absolutely beautiful.

Helsinki Heroes Art Gallery

For a while I've been thinking of selling my artwork on an online gallery. I've been seeking the right one, but suddenly I did no longer need to search for one, instead the gallery found me :)
I was approached by the Helsinki Heroes online magazine. The site was about to launch a new online gallery and I was asked to join. Of course I did, since this was just what I had been seeking for!

So now I'm selling my artwork also online through the Helsinki Heroes Art Gallery: http://helsinkiheroes.com/artgallery/

We did an interview with the magazine editor, so you can read my bio and a short description of every painting. It's been already a success for me to be part of the site, since very soon after the launch I sold my first artwork through the site.

Posterlounge - Prints

The quality check for the site is very strict. That is very good, since this only means that you can expect very good quality for those prints!

I'm currently taking new photos of paintings and uploading them on the site in very high resolution. If there is a specific painting you'd like as a print, let me know :)

New flower paintings

I think I've been doing these flower paintings now for 2 years and I'm still obsessed with these! I have new ones coming up already :)

Art gallery opening night

I currently have an exhibition in Helsinki at Galleria Fogga www.fogga.fi
It's still running this week (until 9.3) :)

Taiteiden yö 25.08 - Huutokaupalla APUA Syyrian lapsille-tapahtuma

Hei,

Huomenna 25.08 Taiteiden yönä olen mukana Helsingissä Suomi Syyria yhteisö ry:n taidehuutokaupassa. Taidehuutokaupan tuotot menevät sodan jaloissa elävien lasten hyväksi.

Huutokaupalla APUA Syyrian lapsille-tapahtuma, sai alkunsa sydämellisen kuvataiteilijan, Peter Valve n kanssa kydystä keskustelusta, jossa hän ehdotti Suomi Syyria yhdistykselle haluavansa lahjoittaa teoksiaan huutokaupattavaksi,varainkeruuta varten sodan jaloissa elävien lasten hyväksi. Tuo avaus käynnisti koko huutokaupan ajatuksen.

Nyt taidehuutokaupassa on monien suomalaisten taiteilijoiden lahjoittamia teoksia. Mukaan lukien Peter Valve, Juhani Palmu, Kai Stenvall, Marko Bowellan, Yordi Lara-Ochoa, Sampsa Sarparanta, Piia Lehti, Katariina Souri, Juha Soisalo, Riitta Nelimarkka, Manuella Bosco, Anette Tillander.

Olen myös itse lahjoittanut huutokauppaan yhden teoksen, ja olen huomenna paikan päällä (KLO 17.00-20.00 Bulevardinkatu 9, Hagelstam & Co ).

Galleria Fogga - Elämä Voittaa 4.6. - 23.6.2016

So, as I mentioned in my earlier post I'm participating in a group show right now. Below are some pics from the gallery opening :) I have 5 paintings on display at the gallery. It's still open next week, so go and check it out if you are in Helsinki! :D

I was really happy that some friends came to the opening and also my cousin from Jyväskylä :) that was really a nice surprise! I'm so glad to be a part of this at show! The gallery is really beautiful and the location is fantastic!
